Still not certain the question was answered or understood. The trouble is that my Grandson has purchased and downloaded several apps and programs related to his Gaming action. My business organisation is that the curfew and time limits in the parental controls are not working. and shutting him downward automatically at 8PM or subsequently then many hours of use. The forum suggested deleting his account and re-creating it. My question was "won't that wipe out all his programs and downloads too." I don't want to take him off Parental Controls, I merely desire them to work finer.

I removed my child and I'm trying to remove myself but whenever I go onto the family it sayd add together child or add another child instead. also I cant find the adults department on Microsoft and so I deceit remove my self please reply asap give thanks y'all

What if you don't know the family account? How do you disconnect your PC from this feature without logging in to Microsoft? My son has a his own laptop, he'southward logged in with a local account, not a Microsoft account, but "Family Features" is preventing him from running things including Chrome. I never installed Family Features, I don't have a Parent Account, I accept no idea why his laptop is behaving this way. All I want to do is stop the PC from having any parental controls. I don't need them, it's just crippling his computer. It's Windows 10.

I got like problem,
I did create a family business relationship for my son (as a kid), we faced a lot of issues since and so similar installing games or other apps (that online family characteristic is and so difficult to utilize, very little settings and then on), and then I decided to delete sons account and my own (as adult - administrator), since then I tin can't install anything on my PC myself, I can't disable that annoying Microsoft family unit characteristic it keeps proverb that I take to ask developed permission, lol.
Please help me to finish that family feature on my Windows x (build 15063.674).
P.S. I feel lamentable I upgraded from Win7 to Win10 :(

I resolved my son's issue with the assist of Microsoft support.
As a quick recap, my son was the only user on his machine, logging on with a local administrator account, not a Microsoft account, and with full admin privileges simply he was notwithstanding subjected to "family features".
The solution was to create a new local business relationship and delete his existing one. After deleting his old account we renamed the new one to how the old one was named. After that everything was proficient.
@audisaudis yous say you deleted your son's account and your ain. Manifestly you must still have SOME business relationship on the machine. You take to make certain you lot are using local car accounts, not Microsoft ones.
